1402 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Building Commission No. 2," which shall consist of the Ad-
jutant General, the Commanding Officer of the First Regiment,
Maryland National Guard, the Commanding Officer of the Com-
pany stationed in the place where the Armory is to be located,
and two other persons to be appointed by the Governor. The
Commission so created is hereby authorized to acquire in the
name of the State of Maryland, by either purchase or condem-
nation, a suitable site upon which to build an armory, and to
make all necessary contracts for the construction and equipment
of the same.

SEC. 12. And be it further enacted, That upon the comple-
tion of the said armories herein specified, all title to the same
shall be vested in the State of Maryland, to be held and con-
trolled as the general property of the said State used by the
Maryland National Guard is by law held in control.

SEC. 13. And be it further enacted, That the armories to be
built by the State Armory Building Commission No. 1 and the
State Armory Building Commission No. 2 shall be located in the
towns of Elkton and Bel Air respectively, these towns being the
stations of Companies of the First Regiment, Maryland National
Guard, longest in continuous service of the State, provided the
Companies stationed at Elkton and Bel Air shall respectively
meet the following conditions, namely: The Company shall show
in such a manner as shall be prescribed by the Adjutant Gen-
eral of the State that it has two officers and forty-five enlisted
men available for duty and in the event of either or both of
these Companies failing to meet such conditions, then the appro-
priation herein provided shall be applied to the purchase of
ground and erection of armories in such place or places as shall
be the stations of the Companies of the First Regiment, Mary-
land National Guard, longest in continuous service which do
meet the conditions above prescribed.

SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 792.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 160-E
of Article 33 of the Code of Public. General Laws of Mary-
land, title "Elections," sub-title "Primary Elections," as the
same was enacted by Chapter 347 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1912.
