and the result made public by insertion at least twice in some
newspaper of general circulation published in said Frederick
County.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That in case the qualified
voters of said Town of New Market, by majority, vote to repeal
said Charter, the Town Commissioners of said town shall con-
tinue in office for the period of three months from the date of
said election, in order to close up the business affairs of said
town, and at the expiration of said period of three months,
the Board of County Commissioners of said Frederick County
shall take charge of said business affairs, and shall have full
power and authority to do all things necessary in the premises,
in their discretion, or that may be required of them, to close
up said affairs.

CHAPTER 791.

AN ACT to authorize the creation of a State debt in the aggre-
gate amount of $950,000 to be evidenced by bonds or certifi-
cates of indebtedness, the proceeds of said bonds or certificates
of indebtedness to be appropriated, applied, divided and ap-
portioned as follows:

1. For the completion of the Maryland State
Normal School, and to that end appropriat-
ing .......................................$225,000.00

2. For the completion of the State Armory in
the City of Frederick, and to that end appro-
priating ................................ 11,500.00

3. For the completion of the State Armory in
the City of Salisbury, and to that end appro-
priating ................................ 10,500.00

4. For the completion of the State Armory and
Convention Hall in the City of Annapolis,
and to that end appropriating ............ 25,000.00

5. For the enlargement and improvement of
Springfield State Hospital, and to that end
appropriating ........................... 110,000.00

6. For the enlargement and improvement of
Spring Grove State Hospital, and to that end
appropriating ........................... 80,000.00
