by condemnation in the manner provided by Chapter 117 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1912, and any other Act
or Acts or parts of any Act or Acts amendatory thereof or
supplementary thereto, which have been, are or may hereafter
be enacted by the General Assembly with respect to the acqui-
sition of property by condemnation; and in like manner shall
have power and authority to acquire a. strip of land not ex-
ceeding twenty-five (25) feet in width with necessary addi-
tional widths in deep cuts and fillings required by the Company
for its proper transmission and delivery lines and all other lands
necessary for the construction and operation, of its works as
well as all necessary water, including in the land and water
thus described, water power, water privileges and lands flowed
or submerged with water accumulated by the Company's dams.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 769.

AN ACT to amend Article 10, Section 164, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Fences," by adding an additional Section thereto to be
known as Section 164-A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," be and the same is hereby amended by
adding thereto an additional Section, to be known as Section
164-A, and to read as follows:

SEC. 164-A. All fields and other grounds kept for enclosures
in Meekin's Neck, or that part of Hooper's Island or No. 6
Election District, lying to the north of Fishing Creek, shall
be considered sufficiently and legally fenced in compliance with
Section 164 of this Article, Which shall be enclosed with a com-
bination woven wire and barbed wire fence, which shall be
tightly stretched and securely attached to good and sufficient
posts firmly planted in the ground not more than ten feet
apart and the top strand of which shall be not less than forty-
four iuches from the ground. All said combination woven
wire and barbed wire fences shall be constructed of those
makes of woven wire fencing usually used in said locality, and
