artificial blind in any of the said waters without first taking
out a license therefor, as provided in the following Section.
SEC. 321A-5. Any person or persons residing in Dorchester
County may erect, set or maintain a booby blind, stake blind
or other similar artificial blind as provided for in this Act
after first obtaining a license to do so from the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Dorchester County in the same manner and
for the same time as gunning licenses are issued, and said clerk
is authorized to issue said license upon payment by the appli-
cant of the sum of five dollars ($5.00), to be paid over by said
Clerk to the Treasurer of Dorchester County as part of Game
Protection Fund, after deducting therefrom the sum of fifty
cents as a fee to be retained by said clerk for issuing said
license. And it shall be unlawful for said clerk to issue to
any one person or to any club or group of persons having a
common interest in the same licenses to erect, maintain or set
more than two blinds above mentioned; all licenses issued by
the said clerk as provided for in this Act to contain the name
of the person or persons to whom said license is issued, together
with the number of the blind and the general position in which
the same is to be placed.
SEC. 321A-6. When any person or persons shall have ob-
tained a license as provided in the aforegoing Section of this
Act, and shall have erected a booby blind, stake blind or sim-
ilar artificial blind as hereinbefore provided for, and the same
may have thereafter been destroyed or taken away by ice or
by any other causes beyond the control of the holder or hold-
ers of said license, he or they shall have ten days from the
date of the loss or removal of the blind within which to re-
place or restore the same without forfeiting or losing the "set"
or position in which the same formerly stood, and shall keep the
license number of blind conspicuously posted thereon.
SEC. 321A-7. All owners of riparian rights on the said
waters shall, by virtue of said ownership, be first entitled to
make a choice of the set or position in front of their said prop-
erty for the purpose of erecting and maintaining said blinds,
provided that said riparian owners shall avail themselves of
said choice of locality and clearly mark the same within not
less than twenty days prior to the open season fixed by law
for shooting wild fowl.
SEC. 321A-8. Any person who shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
