receiving five thousand dollars or more for each fiscal year, as
herein mentioned, shall present to the Comptroller satisfactory
evidence that said hospital has been prepared at all times to
receive twenty-seven free patients for each fiscal year.
Approved April 16th, 1914, with the exception of the several
items disapproved, and with the exception of the portions of the
respective amounts of the several items disapproved, as appears
in the disapproval of the said several items, and in the dis-
approvals of the portions of the respective amounts of the said
several items hereunto annexed.
The provisions and items of the above Act, to-wit:
Chapter 721, entitled "An Act to appropriate certain sums
of money to the support of sundry schools and charitable insti-
tutions in the State of Maryland for each of the two fiscal years
ending on the 30th day of September, 1915, and on the 30th day
of September, 1916, respectively," are hereby approved, with
the exception of the following provisions and items, and with the
exception of the following named portions of the respective
amounts of the several items contained in said Act, which are
hereby severally and respectively disapproved, to-wit:
On page 2 of the enrolled Act, in provision or clause 7, the
item, "to the Baltimore Orphan Asylum, the sum of Three
Thousand Dollars for maintenance for the fiscal year 1915, and
the like sum of Three Thousand Dollars for maintenance for
the fiscal year 1916," is hereby approved; and disapproved to
the extent or amount, "together with the further sum of Two
Thousand Dollars for repairs to buildings for the fiscal year
1915."
On page 5 of the enrolled Act, in provision or clause 50, the
item, "To the Friendly Inn Association, the sum of One Thou-
sand Dollars for the fiscal year 1915, and the like sum of One
Thousand Dollars for the fiscal year 1916," is hereby disap-
proved.
On page 5 of the enrolled Act, in provision or clause 51, the
item, ' To the Public Athletic League, the sum of Sixty-five hun-
dred Dollars for the fiscal year 1915," is approved to the extent
and amount of Four Thousand Dollars for the said fiscal year
1915, and disapproved to the extent or amount of Twenty-five
Hundred Dollars thereof; and the item, "and the like sum of
Sixty-five Hundred Dollars for the fiscal year 1916," is ap-
proved to the extent or amount of Four Thousand Dollars, and
