1214 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

with three or more individual sureties or corporate surety to-
be approved by the County Commissioners; and he shall execute
to the said State, for the use of the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County, a bond in the penal sum of forty thousand
dollars, with at least three individual sureties or corporate sure-
ty to be approved by them, conditioned for the faithful per-
formance of his duty as collector of County taxes. The com-
pensation of such Treasurer of Baltimore County for his ser-
vices as such treasurer and as collector of County taxes, shall
be two thousand five hundred dollars, to be paid him quarterly
by the County Commissioners of Baltimore County; and the
County Commissioners of said County in making their annual
levy, shall levy upon the assessable property in Baltimore Coun
ty such commission as will in their judgment insure a speedy
collection of the taxes due the State of Maryland in Baltimore
County, not exceeding two per cent, on the State taxes estimated
to be collected by said Treasurer during the year for which
Such levy is made, and in no event to exceed three thousand
dollars in any one year; said commission to be levied for the
use of said Treasurer, and to be collected as other charges are
collected and paid over to said Treasurer quarterly in addition
to the specific salary of two thousand five hundred dollars per
annum hereinbefore provided for; and all the fees and commis-
sions hereafter collected by the Treasurer of Baltimore County
from delinquent taxpayers as provided by Sections 87 and 90
of this sub-title shall be paid to the Treasurer of the State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 713.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 9
of Chapter 58 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-

land of 1910, the same being an Act to incorporate the Ham-
ilton Banking and Trust Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 9 of Chapter 58 of the Acts of Assembly of
1910 be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:

SEC. 9. The principal office of said corporation shall be
located in Baltimore County or in the City of Baltimore, as its:
