first day of January, during the season for shooting wild Water
Fowl as fixed by Section 279 and those days prior to the first day
of January, shall be Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and on
and after the first day of January, shall be Monday, Wednesday,
Friday and Saturday until the end of the season for shooting
Wild Fowl as aforesaid; and each of the said days shall be com-
prehended the time intervening between One Hour before Sun-
rise and Two O'Clock P. M. of the days aforesaid, and no more;
and said time shall not include any part or period of night; and
any person on conviction of the violation of this Section, shall be
fined not less than Fifty Dollars and not more than One Hun-
dred Dollars.
SEC. 402-A. And be it enacted, That any person holding li-
cense to gun for or after Wild Water Fowl may, during the gun-
ning season, as fixed by Section 279, be allowed to anchor or
otherwise make stationary any sink-box, sneak boat or any other
vessel or craft on the waters lying Northward of the line named
in Section 380, after 4.30 A. M. on any Monday, Wednesday or
Friday prior to the first day of January of said gunning sea-
son ; and on and after the first day of January on any Monday,
Wednesday, Friday or Saturday after 4.30 A. M.; for the pur-
pose of procuring a berth and that any person holding a license
making stationary any sink-box, sneak boat or any other vessel
or craft on the waters lying Northward of the line named in Sec-
tion 380, shall be required to only display such lights or signals
on said crafts as required by the Federal Laws of the United
States of America governing navigation, and any person vio-
lating this Section shall be subject to a fine of not less than Fifty
Dollars and not more than One Hundred Dollars.
SEC. 402-B. And be it enacted, That all boats, sink-boxes,
sneak boats or any other vessel or craft used for the purpose of
gunning on the waters lying Northward of the line named in
Section 278 propelled by as, gasoline, naptha, steam or other
mechanical engines shall be required to muffle their exhausts
and subdue and suppress other noise ensuing or emanating there-
from to such an extent that the ducks or water-fowl will not be
disturbed while such crafts are moving over or made stationary
3n the gunning grounds aforesaid and any person violating this
Section shall be fined not less than Twenty-Five Dollars and
not more than Fifty Dollars, to be recovered by a Justice of the
Peace, one-half of said fine to be paid the officer making the ar-
rest and the other half to those assisting in making the arrest,
and in addition to the said fine the person violating this Sec-
