CHAPTER 84.

Passed Feb,
28, 1862.

. AN ACT to add a section to Article nine of the
Public Local Laws of this State,, relating to
Schools, providing for the disbursement of the
fund applicable to the Primary Schools of
Charles county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That all sums of money receivable
and applicable to the Primary Schools of Charles
county, be and the same shall hereafter be dis-
bursed under the direction of the School Commis-
sioners of said county, and that all checks or or-
ders hereafter drawn by said Commissioners shall
be countersigned by the Register -of Wills of said
county, for which the said Register shall receive
the sum of ten cents, to be paid by the applicant
therefor, for every such order or draft drawn by
said Commissioners and signed by him.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

 

CHAPTER 85.

4, 1862.

AN ACT to authorize Hester Twilley and Dewitt
C. Handley, administrators with the will an-
nexed of James D. Twilley, late of Dorchester
county, deceased, to cut and sell wood and tim-
ber from the lands belonging to the estate of
said deceased, for the purpose of paying the
debts thereof.

of Maryland, That Hester Twilley and Dewitt C.
Handley, administrators with the will annexed of
James D. Twilley, late of Dorchester county, de-
