Vacancy in
Board of Trus-
tees — how fill-
ed.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That in case of any
vacancy in the said board of trustees, it may be
filled by the appointment of a successor or succes-
sors by the remaining trustees, or if they neglect
to fill such vacancy , by any Quarterly Conference,
on Kent Circuit, and the entry, on the minutes,
or proceedings of any Quarterly Conference of such
appointment, shall be evidence of the same in law
and equity.

In force.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

 

CHAPTER 73.

Passed Feb.
19, 1862.

AN ACT to repeal Article seventeen of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled, "Agricultural
Chemist," and relating to the office of Agri-
cultural Chemist for the State.

Repealed.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Article seventeen of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled, "Agricultural.
Chemist," and relating to the office of Agricultural
Chemist for the State, be and the same is hereby
repealed.

In force.

And be it enacted, That this aot shall take effect
from and after the expiration of the term of office
of the present incumbent.
