and west of said line shall be known as precinct
number two, and that all the voters in each of said
precincts shall vote at the Court House in Frede-
rick city, and the said County Commissioners shall
cause two polls to be opened at the said Court
House, for that purpose, and shall also appoint
three Judges of election for each of said precincts
to receive, count and return the ballots that may
be cast at any election hereafter to be held.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Coun-
ty Commissioners of Frederick county shall, on or
before the first Monday in June next, cause a sur-
vey to be made in accordance with the lines desig-
nated in the first section of this act, and have
stones with suitable inscriptions thereon, prepared,
and plant one at the point where the line leaves
the road to intersect Second street, and another at
the point where the line strikes the turnpike lead-
ing from Frederick to Hagerstown.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the act passed
by the General Assembly of Maryland on the twen-
ty-fifth day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-
one, chapter seventy-four, entitled, An act to di-
vide the western poll of district number two, in
Frederick county, into two polls, be and the same
is hereby repealed.

Repealed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the Sheriff of
Frederick county, shall give notice of the place of
holding the election in the two precincts of said
Election District number two, and of the division
of said district as aforesaid, by causing the same
to be inserted in one or more of the newspapers
printed in Frederick city, once a week, for four
weeks, prior to the next general election to be held
after the passage of this act.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into operation immediately on its passage.
