AN ACT to amend sections thirteen and fifteen, of
Article ninety-eight, of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws entitled, Wild Fowl, relating to the
catching and killing of Partridges, Woodcock
and Pheasants.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section thirteen, of Article
ninety-eight, of the Code of Public General Laws
entitled, Wild Fowl, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:

Sec. 13, art.
98, amended.
|
No person shall trap, shoot, or in any manner
catch or kill any Partridges, between the fifteenth
day of January and the twentieth of October,
nor any Woodcock, between the first day of Feb-
ruary and the tenth day of June, nor any Pheas-
ants, between the first day of February and the
twelfth day of August, in each year.
|

Sec. 2. That section fifteen of said Article, be
amended and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:

Section 15
amended.
|
Any person violating either of the preceding
sections, shall pay a fine of five dollars, to be re-
covered before a Justice of the Peace of the county
where the offence was committed, which fine shall
be paid to the County, Commissioners for the
county in which the case shall be tried, for the use
of the common school fund.
|
Penalty, &c.
|
Sec. 3. This act shall take effect from the day of
its passage.
