of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to elections in
Frederick city, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof.

56. An act to compensate George Vickers, for legal services
rendered the State, in the case of the State against Albert
Reed, free negro.

57. An act amendatory of an act passed by the General
Assembly, at its January session, eighteen hundred and
fifty-three, chapter three hundred and two, incorporating the
Frederick and Monocacy Turnpike Company.

58. An act to authorize Charles Beall, of Prince George's
county, to act in the double capacity of Magistrate and
Postmaster.

59. An act for the relief of Joseph M. Ebberts, late Sheriff
of Frederick county.

60. An act to change the name of Samuel Edwin Ridout
Hyde, of Anne Arundel county, to Samuel Ridout Hyde.

61. An act to repeal the thirty-third section of the tenth
Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the
town of Cambridge, in Dorchester county, and to enact the
following as a substitute therefor.

62. An act to fix the number of County Commissioners for
Frederick county, to make valid their acts, to repeal the forty-
fifth section of the eleventh Article of the Code of Public
Local Laws, relating to advertising by said County Commis-
sioners, and to provide for the mode of advertising by said
County Commissioners for Frederick county.

63. An act to provide for the holding of Corporation Elec-
tions in Frederick city.

64. An act appropriating a sum of money to pay George
W. Jefferson, for extra clerical services in the Executive De-
partment.

65. An act to authorize and require the Comptroller to
draw a warrant upon the Treasurer of Maryland, to pay to
D. C. Blackiston, administrator of William H. Blackiston,
deceased, late of Kent county, the sum of seventy-six dollars
and five cents, balance due on over payment made to Edward
A. Moore, deceased, former State's Attorney for Kent county,
on State tax of eighteen hundred and forty-five.
