of Bank not to
be affected by
the cancelling
of the shares.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the cancelling
of the aforesaid shares of capital stock, as named
in the first section of this act, shall, in no way
whatever, affect the rights, privileges and restric-
tions of said Bank of Commerce, under each and
every existing law, but shall be in effect as though
the said shares of capital stock had never had an
existence.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 39.

AN ACT to make valid the bond of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Caroline county.
|
Bond made
valid.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the bond of Robert J. Jump,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Caroline county, ex-
ecuted and approved by the Judge of the said
court, on the twenty-ninth day of November, and
recorded on the thirtieth day of November, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-one, among the land re-
cords for said county, be, and the same is hereby
made and declared to be as valid and as legal as if
the same had been executed and approved at the
regular fall term of said court.

Protection to
clerk.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said bond
shall afford as ample protection to said clerk, in
the emoluments, immunities, tenure and term of
office, and to him and to all others, in all other re-
spects, as if it had been executed and approved
within the time prescribed by law.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
