Sec. 2. In settling the accounts of the parties
aforesaid the Comptroller shall allow them the full
amount of salary from May the first, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-eight, to May the first, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-one, as fixed by the thirteenth sec-
tion of the act of eighteen hundred and fifty-eight,
chapter three hundred and one, notwithstanding
the repeal of said act.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller
be and he hereby is authorized to issue his warrant
to the Treasurer, for the payment of such sum or
sums as may be found to be due to the parties
named in the first section of this act.

Sec. 4. Be it enacted, That the act passed Jan-
uary the ninth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, en-
titled, An act to authorize the State Treasurer,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay over
to John G. O'Hara and others, the arrears of their
salaries as clerks in the several State Tobacco
Warehouses in the city of Baltimore, be and the
same is hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT authorizing the Bank of Commerce to
cancel four thousand shares of their Capital
Stock.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Bank of Commerce be, and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to can-
cel, annul and make void, four thousand shares of
their capital stock which now represent a portion
of their assets.
