AN ACT to repeal section ninety-five of Article
one of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating
to Constables fees, in Allegany county.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section ninety-five of Article
one of the Code of Public Local Laws, be and the
same is hereby repealed, and the following be
enacted in lieu thereof:

Mileage.
|
95. Every Constable in Allegany county, shall
receive in addition to the fifty cents allowed by
law, for delivering to the sheriff any person on
commitment, five cents per mile each way, going
and returning, for every mile he may have to travel,
over four miles, and in addition shall be allowed
the actual traveling expenses of each prisoner, the
said expenses to be returned to the County Com-
missioners under oath.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
