AN ACT to repeal the thirty-sixth section of the
thirteenth Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, authorising the Orphans' Court of How-
ard county to appoint a bailiff.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the thirty-sixth section of the
thirteenth Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, authorizing the Orphans' Court of Howard
county to appoint a Bailiff, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repealed.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
|

AN ACT to change the name of Frederick Jerome
Ridgaway, an infant, of Baltimore city, to Fred-
erick Jerome Cahill.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That ,the name of Frederick Jerome
Ridgaway, an infant, of Baltimore city, be and the
same is hereby changed to Frederick Jerome Cahill,
and that it shall be lawful for the said Frederick
Jerome Ridgaway, at all times hereafter, to be
called and known by and hold and use the name
of Frederick Jerome Cahill, and by that name to
hold, receive, purchase, sell and convey, devise or
receive property now or hereafter devised, and to
sue or be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any
court of equity or law.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
ake effect from and after the day of its passage.
