present at a meeting called for that specific object,
due notice whereof shall be given.
 

CHAPTER 184.

6, 1862.

AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners
of Worcester county to open a Public Road in
the second and seventh Election Districts of said
county.

Commission-
ers authorized
to open road.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Worcester county be and they are hereby autho-
rized and directed to open a Public Road in the
second and seventh Election Districts of Worcester
county, to begin at the present entrance to the
farm belonging to Justice M. Bratton, on the west
side of the Pocomoke river, within two miles of the
town of Snow Hill, and running thence to and
across Nassaongo creek, thence by "Coxes Old
Mill" to intersect the public road leading from
Nassaongo bridge to New Town, and to build a
suitable bridge across the said Nassaongo creek, on
the line of said road.

Levy.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Commis-
sioners shall levy upon the assessable property of
said county a sum of money which in their judg-
ment shall be sufficient to effect the object of this
law.

In force

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
