AN ACT to change the name of William Edwin
Plummer Ward, of Anne Arundel county, to
William Edwin Plummer Gover.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of William Edwin
Plummer Ward, of Anne Arundel county, be and
the same is hereby changed to William Edwin
Plummer Gover.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 173.

AN ACT to amend sections one hundred and
forty-seven, and nine hundred and forty-nine, of
Article four of the Code of Public Local Laws,
of Baltimore city, relating to the licensing of
Wood Hucksters.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections nine hundred and
forty-seven, and nine hundred and forty-nine, of
Article four, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of
Baltimore city, relating to licensing of Wood
Hucksters, be and the same are hereby repealed.
|
Substitute.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the following be
substituted for said section, nine hundred and
forty-seven, hereby repealed :
|
Wood-huck-
ster's license.
|
947. The clerk of the court of Common Pleas
may issue licenses to retail and huckster wood, on
any of the wharves in the city of Baltimore, upon
the payment of one hundred dollars, for the use of
the State.
|
Substitute.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the following
be substituted in lieu of section nine hundred and
forty-nine, hereby repealed :
