hundred and eighty-nine, Article four, of the said
Public Local Laws, or to exceed the amount paid
into the Treasury by said Inspectors, out of which
amount, if necessary , said accounts as adjusted un-
der the authority of this act shall be paid.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

 

CHAPTER 170.

Passed March
6, 1862.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article six of
the Code of Public Local Laws for Caroline
county, relating to School District Number
Three, in the First Election District of said
county.

Additional
section.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following section be added
to the Code of Public Local Laws for Caroline
county, to take place next after section two hun-
dred of said Article :

School Dis-
trict organized

School District Number Three, in the First Elec-
tion District of said county, is fully organized as
a school district, upon an equal footing with the
other school districts of said county, and the acts
of the present trustees of said school district are
made valid, and the said trustees shall continue as
such until the first Monday in November next, and
until their successors shall be duly elected and
qualified ; on which said first Monday in Novem-
ber next, between the hours of two and five o'clock,
P. M., a new election for said trustees shall be
held in the manner now provided by this Article ;
and such election shall also be held on the first
Monday in November, between the same hours, in
every third year thereafter, and the trustees of said
school district shall hold their offices until their
successors shall be duly elected and qualified.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
