pay to each of the Sheriffs above named the sum
of fifty dollars, for their own services and expenses
in said cases.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

 

CHAPTER 164.

Passed Feb,
10, 1862.

AN ACT to authorize tho Vestry of Saint Paul's
Parish, in Kent county, to acquire and hold real
estate not exceeding one hundred and twenty
acres.

rized to hold
real estate.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the consent of the Legislature
is hereby given to the Vestry of Saint Paul's Pa-
rish, in Kent county, and to their successors, to
purchase and hold a lot or parcel of land in said
county, not exceeding one hundred and twenty
acres, and to hold and use the same in such, man-
ner and for such purposes as they may deem most
conducive to the interest and benefit of the Parish
aforesaid.

In force.

take effect from its passage.
