AN ACT to amend the sixtieth section of the
thirteenth Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to the Primary Schools of How-
ard county.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, Thai the sixteenth section of the
thirteenth Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to the Primary Schools of Howard
county, be and the same is hereby repealed, and
the following enacted in lieu thereof:

Books and
stationery for
schools.
|
They shall, from time to time, name such books
as shall be used in the Primary Schools, and such
books shall be uniform in the several schools ; and
the trustees of each School District shall appro-
priate out of the school funds of the District, a
sum not exceeding thirty dollars a year, for the
purchase of books and stationery, under the di-
rection of said inspectors.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted; That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT to amend the thirty-seventh Article of
the Code of Public General Laws, by repealing
the thirty-third section thereof, relating to Com-
missions to take evidence from other States,
and substituting therefor a new section.

of Maryland, That the thirty-third section of the
thirty-seventh Article of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws, relating to Commissions to take evidence
from other States, be and the same is hereby re-
