AN ACT to change the name of Sydney Wilson
Long, of Somerset county, to Sydney Chaille
Long.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of Sydney Wilson
Long, son of Sydney C. and Mary Long, all of
said county, be and the same is hereby changed to
Sydney Chaille Long.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 103.
|

34, 1862.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and thirty
of Article eight of the Code of Public Local
Laws, relating to the collection of taxes, fines
and forfeitures in the village of North East.
|
Bepealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section one hundred and thirty
of Article eight of the Code of Public Local Laws,
be and the same is hereby repealed and the follow-
ing substituted therefor.
|
Taxes, fines,
&c.
|
130. If any person shall refuse or neglect to pay
his taxes, fines or forfeitures, the said commissioners
may collect the same, in the same manner as other
taxes, fines or forfeitures are collected.
|

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
