AN ACT to repeal an act entitled, a further ad-
ditional supplement to an act entitled, an act to
establish and incorporate a Medical and Chirur-
gical Faculty or Society, in the State of Mary-
land, passed June session eighteen hundred and
sixty-one, chapter forty-two, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That it shall be fully competent for
any number of the members of the Medical and
Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, not less than
five, who may assemble after a public call pub-
lished at least twice a week, for two weeks, in one
or more of the daily newspapers of Baltimore city,
to transact any or all of the business that may
come before said Faculty.

business.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the
charter of said Faculty as calls for fifteen to make
a quorum to transact the business of said Faculty,
be and the same is hereby repealed.

Repealed.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT for the relief of the Families of those of
the Massachusetts Sixth Regiment of Volunteers
who were killed or wo.unded in the riot of the
nineteenth of April, eighteen hundred and sixty-
one at Baltimore.

WHEEEAS, the Sixth Regiment of Massachusetts
Volunteers, on their way to defend the National
Capitol, were brutally attacked by a mob in the
streets of Baltimore, on the nineteenth of April,
