Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the twenty-first and twenty-
second sections of the fifty-sixth Article of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to the
licenses of hawkers and pedlars, be and the same
are hereby repealed, and the following sections
enacted in lieu thereof:

" Twenty-one." For every such license, not to ex-
tend beyond the county in which the same may be
issued, there shall be paid the following rates, to
wit: for every license to travel on foot, the sum
of forty dollars; to travel with a horse or other
beast of burden and wagon or other vehicle, the
sum of fifty dollars ; with two horses or other
beasts of burden and wagon or other vehicle, the
sum of seventy dollars. For every such license
to extend over the whole Eastern Shore or the
whole Western Shore, there shall be paid the fol-
lowing rates, to wit: for every license to travel on
foot, the sum of sixty dollars ; to travel with a horse
or other beast of burden, or one horse and other
beast of burden and wagon or other vehicle, the
sum of one hundred dollars ; with two horses or
other beasts of burden and wagon or other vehicle,
the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars.
