422. They shall severally account for, under
oath, and pay oyer to the Treasurer quarterly, all
moneys received by them as Inspectors after re-
taining for their services two thirds of all mo-
neys received under the four hundred and thir-
teenth section, and one-fifth of all moneys receiv-
ed under the four hundred and twentieth section
of this Article, and the Inspector at the Western
Scales, shall be allowed a sum not exceeding three
hundred dollars annually for an assistant to carry
out the additional duties required of him by this
act, on proof that such sum has been properly ex-
pended by him.
