sentatives of the husband or of any of his credi-
tors; in case of the death of the wife before the
decease of the husband, the amount of insurance
may be made payable after death, to her children
for their use and to their guardian, if under age.

To take ef-
fect.

Sec. 19. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage, but may be
altered, amended or repealed by the Legislature of
Maryland at its pleasure.

 

CHAPTER 363.

AN ACT to authorize the payment of back funds
to the Academies of Anne Arundel county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It appears by the report of the Comp-
troller of the Treasurer, made to this House on
February the nineteenth, eighteen hundred and
sixty-four, that no academy fund was paid to Anne
Arundel county for the years eighteen hundred
and fifty-two, eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
eighteen hundred and fifty-four and eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-five, as provided for all the counties
of the State by resolution of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed February seventeenth, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-two; therefore,

Warrant may
be issued.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay to the School Commissioners for
Anne Arundel county, for each of the years eigh-
teen hundred and fifty-two, eighteen hundred and
fifty-three, eighteen hundred and fifty-four and
eighteen hundred and fifty-five, the same amount
now received annually by them from the State as
academy fund.

propriated.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That when said amount
shall be received by the School Commissioners for
