AN ACT to repeal the eighty-first section of
Article seven of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to the Sheriff of Carroll county as
amended by chapter seventy-eight, passed De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and sixty-one,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the eighty-first section of
Article seven of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to the Sheriff of Carroll county as amended
by chapter seventy-eight, passed December session
eighteen hundred and sixty-one, be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

Allowance
per day.

81. The Sheriff of Carroll county shall be'
entitled to thirty-seven and a half cents per day
for boarding each prisoner or person committed to
or confined in the jail of said county.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
