substituted in the place and stead of the old one,
and the matter and contents thereof shall be treat-
ed, considered and held as valid and effectual in
all respects as were the matters and contents of the
said original.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That upon
completion of said judgment docket, as herein-
before provided for, and upon the approval and
acceptance of the same by the Commissioners of
said county, they, the Commissioness, shall levy
for the use of the said Clerk, as other county
charges are now levied, such a sum of money as
the said transcribing shall amount to, at the rate
now by law allowed to the Clerk for transcribing
judgments.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 3.

 

AN ACT entitled, An Act to continue in force the
second section of Article twelve of the Code of
Public General Laws relating to Banks.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section two of Article twelve of
the Code of Public General Laws be and the same
is hereby continued in force and operation in law
until the eleventh day of March, eighteen hundred
and sixty-six.
