AN ACT to make valid the last Will and Testa-
ment of Sally M. Parsons, late wife of Jehue H.
Parsons, of Somerset county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the last Will and Testament
of Sally M. Parsons, deceased, late wife of Jehue
H. Parsons, be and the same is hereby declared
valid and effectual, to all intent and purposes, to
pass title to the property therein devised and be-
queathed, in the same manner, as if the consent of
the said Jehue H. Parsons had been subscribed
thereto, as prescribed by law, and the said Will is
hereby authorized to be admitted to probate in the
same manner as if said consent was subscribed.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 331.

AN ACT authorizing the County Commissioners
of Talbot county, to compensate James H. Mc-
Neal, of said county, for lands taken for county
purposes.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Commissioners of Talbot
county be and they are hereby authorized and
required to pay, out of the county levy for the year
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, to James H. Mc-
Neal, of said county, the sum of one hundred and
forty-one dollars and five cents, as compensation
for two acres, one rood and three and three-fourths
perches of land, heretofore taken, and now used as
a public road, running through his farm.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
