CHAPTER 34.

AN ACT to amend an act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the German and English Evangelical
Lutheran Congregation of Manchester, Carroll
county, passed February seventeenth, eighteen
hundred and sixty-two.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the act passed February seven-
teenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, entitled,
an act to incorporate the German and English
Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Manches-
ter, Carroll county, be and the same is hereby
amended, so as to read in the title of said act, in-
stead of "The German and English Evangelical
Congregation of Manchester" as follows: "The
Trustees of the German and English Evangelical
Lutheran Emanuel Church of Manchester ;" and
in the preamble, instead of the words "The Ger-
man and English Evangelical Congregation of
Manchester, Carroll county," as follows: "The
Trustees of the German and English Evangelical
Lutheran Emanuel Church of Manchester, Carroll
county :" and in the first section, instead of the
words "The Trustees of the German and English
Evanigelical Emanuel Church of Manchester, in
Carroll county," as follows: "The Trustees of the
German, and English Evangelical Lutheran Eman-
uel Church of Manchester, Carroll county."

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the day of its passage.
