affidavit of the purchaser or his attorney, unless
good cause to the contrary be shown by the debtor,
insolvent petitioner, grantor or mortgagor, his
agent or attorney, or other person concerned, with-
in not less than fifteen nor more than thirty days
from the filing of such application as aforesaid,
issue a writ in the nature of writ of habere facias
possesionem, reciting therein the proceedings which
may have been had on said process, thereby com-
manding the said Sheriff, Constable, Coroner or
Elisor, to deliver possession of the said lands and
tenements to the purchaser thereof.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT to provide for the organization and dis-
cipline of the Militia.
|
|
Militia to be
organized.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Governor, as Command-
er-in-Chief, is hereby authorized to enroll and
organize the Militia of this State into Companies,
Regiments, and Brigades, and by general and
special orders to make such rules and regulations
for their control, discipline, armament and equip-
ment, as may be constitutional and necessary,
which rules and regulations shall as far as prac-
ticable, conform to the laws and regulations gov-
erning the organization of the United Slates Volun-
teer forces, their discipline, equipment, armament
and officers; and which rules and regulations shall
have the force of law; and Article sixty-three,
Code of Public General Laws, and sections six
hundred and fifty-two to seven hundred and seven-
ty inclusive, Article four, Code of Public Local
Laws, and all laws, or parts of laws inconsistent
herewith are repealed.
