company shall be extended two years from the pas-
sage of this act.

Repealed.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the twelfth sec-
tion of the said act, which provides for the location
of said road, its beginning and terminus, and to
locate and construct branches from said road, be
and the same is hereby repealed.

Authorized
to construct a
railroad.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the said com-
pany, as incorporated by said act, be and the same
are hereby authorized to locate and construct a
railroad from the waters of the Chesapeake Bay,
in Kent county, or from some point on Chester
river, in said county, to the line or boundary line
of the State of Delaware, and also to locate and
construct branches from said road to any point or
points in Kent county as may be deemed advisable.

Commission-
ers appointed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That George Vickers,
Anderson W. Melvin, Samuel G. Fisher and Ca-
leb W. Spry, be and they are hereby appointed
Comissioners under the said act in place of Hugh
Wallis, Jacob Fisher, Ebenezer Welch and James
Urie, four of the Commissioners appointed in the
said original act; and that this act shall take
effect from its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Smith's Patent Fire
Arms Company.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Poultney, George S.
Brown and David B. Trimble, of the city of Balti-
more, and all and every person or persons who,
with them or in their stead, are or shall hereafter
become associated with them as stockholders in the
corporation hereby created, and their successors
and assigns, shall be and they are hereby created
and declared to be a body corporate and politic by
the name and style of the " Smith's Patent Fire
