SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, on the warrant
of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby authorized
to pay to Teagle Townsend, or to his order, the
sum of fifteen dollars, it being the amount of State
tax erroneously paid by him into the Treasury.

AN ACT to compensate Ezekiel F. Chambers for
professional services rendered by order of the
Governor.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury be and he is hereby directed to issue his
warrant upon the Treasurer to pay Ezekiel F.
Chambers, or his order, two hundred dollars in
addition to the sum of three hundred dollars allowed
him by chapter two hundred and thirty-two, of
the acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and
eighteen hundred and sixty-two, of the General
Assembly of this State, for legal services rendered
by order of the Governor, in the prosecution of
Solomon Wilson for the murder of John Brad-
shaw, and that the sum hereby allowed shall be
in full satisfaction for the services rendered by him
in said case.
