AN ACT to authorize the sale of the real estate
of Jacob Ambrose, deceased, late of Frederick
county, by Jacob Summers, of J., Administra-
tor of said deceased, for the benefit of the per-
sons entitled thereto.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Jacob Summers, of J., Admin-
istrator of Jacob Ambrose, late of Frederick coun-
ty, deceased, be and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to sell the real estate of which said
Jacob Ambrose died, seized and possessed, upon
the order of the Orphans' Court of Frederick
county, which they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to pass, and that said Jacob Summers, of
J., shall bring into said Orphans' Court the money,
the proceeds of the sale of said real estate, to be

distributed under the order of said Court among
the parties legally entitled thereto; provided, that
said Jacob Summers, of J., before he shall make
sale of said real estate, shall execute and file with
the Register of Wills for said county, who is here-
by required to record the same, a bond payable to
the State of Maryland, in the penalty of two hun-
dred dollars, with security to be approved by said
Orphans' Court, and conditioned for the- faithful
discharge of the trust reposed in him by this act.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That said Jacob Sum-
mers, of J., shall report such sale to the Orphans'
Court aforesaid, and that such proceedings shall be
had thereupon for the ratification of such sale, as
are now had in cases of sales by Executors, and
