said school district.

Sec. 2. And be if further enacted, That the Trus-
tees of Primary School District number fifty-nine,
of Frederick county, shall be and they are hereby
authorized to erect suitable buildings on said land,
to be used for the purposes of a Primary School
and for such other purposes as may be deemed ne-
cessary for the promotion of education of youth,
in conformity with an act entitled, An Act to pro-
vide for the public instruction of youth in primary
schools throughout this State, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chap-
ter one hundred and sixty-two.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 204.

 

AN ACT to add new sections to Article twelve of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
.county, relating !to fences.

Passed Mar.
7, 1864.

Be it enacted by. the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following sections relating to fences
be added to Article twelve of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled, "Harford County," and be
arranged under the head of "Fences" in said Ar-
ticle:

Sections added

SECTION J. All division fences between the lands
of Different proprietors in Harford county, which
may be; necessary for their mutual protection,
shall be made and repaired at the joint and equal
expense of the parties interested.

Sec: 2. All such joint division fences, if made
of post and fails or plank, shall be four feet and
a half high; all worm fences shall be five feet
high, made of good and sound rails, staked and
ridered and substantially built.
