val between the calls, and a failure to pay any
instalment agreeably to the call, shall create a
forfeiture to the company of the stock of any de-
linquent or he may be sued for the same, as the
President and Managers may deem best.

Four mem-
bers to be a
quorum.

Sec. 6: And be it enacted, That instead of eight
Managers, as required and directed by the original
act to which this is a supplement; the Stockhold-
ers of the President, Managers and Company of
the Baltimore and Yorktown Turnpike Road,
shall hereafter annually elect six Managers,
whose powers and duties shall be in all
the same with those now belonging to the night
Managers under said original act and its supple-
ments, and all future meetings of the President
and Managers of said company four members in-
stead of five, as required by said original act, shall
constitute a quorum.

effect until ac-
cepted.

Sec. 7. And be it exacted, That no part of this
act shall take effect until accepted by a majority
in value of the Stockholders of said company at a
general meeting of said Stockholders to be held
within one year from the passage of this act, and
that the six preceding sections shall at such, meet-
ing be separately submitted to said Stockholders
for their acceptance or rejection, and each and all
of said sections which shall be then accepted by a
majority in value of said Stockholders shall
thenceforth be operative and take effect.
