Proviso.
|
accounts be henceforth balanced against the State,
by crediting the said Carleton with the release au-
thorized by this act; provided, that this act shall
not be so construed as to release Allegany county
from the amount of State taxes unpaid into the
State Treasury for the years eighteen hundred and
forty-one and eighteen hundred and forty-two.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal an act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed the ninth day of March,
eighteen hundred and sixty, chapter two hun-
dred and fifteen, entitled, "An act to amend
the third Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, by adding thereto certain sections, vesting
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county
with powers to lay out a certain road, from Ca-
tonsville to the Rolling Road," and to substitute
the following sections in lieu thereof.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the act of General Assembly
of Maryland, passed the ninth day of March,
eighteen hundred and sixty, chapter two hundred
and fifteen, entitled, " An act to amend the third
Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, by add-
ing thereto certain sections, vesting the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county with powers
to lay out a certain road from Catonsville to the
Rolling road," be and the same is hereby repealed.

Sec, 2, And be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore county shall and are here-
by authorized to condemn and lay out a public
road, from Catonsville, in Baltimore county, to
the Rolling road, of a width less than thirty feet,
in the same manner in every respect as if said road
|
