AN ACT for the relief of Joseph R. Huntt, late
Sheriff of Charles county, and the sureties on his
official bond.
|
|
Released.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Joseph R. Huntt, late She-
riff of Charles county, and Basil D. Spalding, Samu-
el Cox and William A. Mudd, surviving obligors
of Henry A. Moore, be and they are hereby releas-
ed from the payment of one hundred dollar$- being
part of a judgment erroneously obtained by the
State of Maryland against Joseph R. Huntt and
his sureties, in the Circuit Court of Charles coun-
ty, May term, eighteen hundred and sixty-three,
with interest from the date of said judgment.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted , That this act shall take
effect from the day of its passage.

A SUPPLEMENT to an act entitled, An act
to incorporate the Baltimore City Passenger
Railway Company.
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, the act to which this is a supplement
granted to the Baltimore City Passenger Railway
Company, under the provisions of an ordinance of
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, the right
to receive the sum of five cents for transporting
each passenger from any one part of the city of
Baltimore to any other part on the line of their
railways; the said ordinance further providing that
one-fifth of the receipts of the said Company from
passengers shall be paid to the Register of the city
of Baltimore, to be applied to the purchase, loca-
tion and improvements of such Park as may be
determined upon for the benefit of the people of
said city; and whereas, it has been, shown by the
