structure placed in said cemetery, or burying
ground, or any fence, railing or other work for the
protection or ornament of said cemetery or bury-
ing ground, or shall wilfully destroy, cut, break,
or remove any tree, plant or shrub, within their
limits, shall be considered as guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction thereof, before any
Justice of the Peace, shall be punished by fine, in
the discretion of the Justice, according to the
aggravation of the offence, not less than five, nor
more than fifty dollars.
