AN ACT to add a new section to Article seventeen
of the Code of Public Local Laws entitled,
" Queen Anne's-county," to authorize the Coun-
ty Commissioners of the said county to have a
bridge built over Island creek, in said county.

SECTION. 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the following section be
added to Article seventeenth of Public Local Laws
entitled, " Queen Anne's county."

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's county are hereby
authorized and empowered to have a bridge built
over Island creek from the shore of the Messrs.
Bookers to the opposite shore of Edward H. Lea-
verton, if in their judgment the public interest and
convenience requires the same to be erected, and to
have the cost of the same levied upon the assessa-
ble property of Queen Anne's county.
