proceeds to the purchase or purchases of land and
erection of a new school house or houses within
said districts, for the use of said primary schools,
and which shall be held in trust for said schools,
as the present property is now held.

CH AFTER 111.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article seventeen
of the Code of Public Local Laws entitled,
" Queen Anne's-county," to authorize the Coun-
ty Commissioners of the said county to have a
bridge built over Island creek, in said county.

SECTION. 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the following section be
added to Article seventeenth of Public Local Laws
entitled, " Queen Anne's county."

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's county are hereby
authorized and empowered to have a bridge built
over Island creek from the shore of the Messrs.
Bookers to the opposite shore of Edward H. Lea-
verton, if in their judgment the public interest and
convenience requires the same to be erected, and to
have the cost of the same levied upon the assessa-
ble property of Queen Anne's county.

take effect from the date of its passage.
