No. 144. An act to enable any Bank, Savings Institution
or Savings Bank of this State to become an association for the
purpose of banking under the laws of the United States.

No. 145. An act to incorporate the Pocomoke Navigation
Company.

No. 146. An act to provide for the completion of the resto-
ration of the Records and Papers destroyed or injured by fire
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore
county.

No. 147. An act to incorporate the Empire Coal Company
of Allegany county.

No. 148. An act to authorize Chauncey Brooks, Zenos
Barnum, Alexander Murdoch, William Devries and Johns
Hopkins, to sell certain lands near Baltimore city.

No. 149. An act to amend Article twenty-six of the Public
General Laws of this State, relating to corporations, by add-
ing thereto certain additional sections providing for the
formation of corporations engaged .in the business of obtain-
ing oil by boring or otherwise, on and upon lands lying in
this State, or beyond the limits thereof.

No. 151. An act to incorporate the town of Newtown, in
Worcester county.

No. 152. An act to incorporate the Coal, Iron and Oil
Company of Allegany.

No. 153. An act appropriating a sum of money for services
rendered the State by Daniel M. Moore, and Job Haines, in
the adjustment and payment of claims for bounty to volun-
teers under the act of eighteen hundred and sixty-four.

No. 154. An act to provide for the transfer and conveyance
of the property of the Elysville Manufacturing Company, a
corporation created by the act of eighteen hundred and
twenty-eight, chapter thirty-two.

No. 155. An act to amend and re-enact sections three,
thirty-four, thirty-five, thirty-eight and thirty-nine of Article
eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled,
"Revenue and Taxes."
