AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Josiah Jump, G. M. Taylor, :Thomas E. Dell,
Randall & Hagner, Charles H. Bradford and
L. Van Bokkelin, State Superintendent of
Public Instruction.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer, to pay Josiah Jump or order, fourteen
dollars and ninety cents for fees as Clerk of Circuit
Court of Caroline county ; George M. Taylor, forty
dollars and forty cents, for work done and mate-
rial furnished Comptroller's office; Thomas E.
Dell, one thousand dollars for furnishing second
volume Supplement to the Code to Library; Ran-
dall &. Hagner, fifty dollars as retainer's fees in
the oyster cases pending in the Court "of United
States, in the city of Baltimore; Charles H. Brad-
ford, two hundred dollars to reimburse him for
taxes imposed by General Assembly -of Maryland
as inspector of guano in Baltimore city; L. Van
Bokkelin, Superintendent of Public Instruction,
two hundred and sixty-six dollars ninety-eight
cents, for moneys paid by him for stationery,
wood, &c

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
