provided, that none of the appropriations to col- ,
leges, academies and schools, shall be paid to any
such institution unless said institution shall, before
the twentieth day January, eighteea hundred and
sixty-six, make a full report to the Comptroller, as
required by section four of Article eighty-four of
the Code of Public General Laws.
CONTINGENT FUND.

For the con-
tingent fund.
|
To the Executive, for the contingent fund pro-
vided in the Constitution to be plaped at his dis-
posal, six thousand dollars; to the contingent fund
of the treasury department, fifteen hundred dollars;
for printing blank licenses, protests, circulars and
warrants for the Comptroller, two thousand dol-
lars; for the contingent fund of the library, inclu-
ding the expense of postage, porterage and freight
of stationery for the use of the office, of menial
service and assistance of advertising and printing
and all other incidental expenses, fifteen hundred
dollars; for the augmentation fund of the library,
one thousand dollars; for cost oi printing the an-
nual report of the Comptroller, eight hundred dol-
lars; for the expense of advertising list of foreign
insurance agents, three hundred dollars; for the
expense of fuel and lights for public buildings and
grounds and the government house, six thousand
dollars; for the expense of publishing the list of
officers in default to the State, two thousand dol-
lars; for the contingent fund of the Commissioner
of the Land. Office, four hundred dollars; for the
contingent fund of the Superintendent of Public
Instruction, one thousand dollars; for the repair of
the government house and for the purchase of fur-
niture therefor, four thousand dollars; for the post-
age of the Executive and Treasury Department,
the Land Office, the Adjutant General, Lieutenant
Governor and Secretary of the Senate, two thou-
sand dollars; for the expense of distributing bound
copies of the Maryland Reports to the Clerks and
Registers of Wills of this State, fifty dollars; for
the contingent fund of the Adjutant General, one
thousand dollars; for the salary of a Clerk to the
Adjutant General of Militia, one thousand dollars.
