AN ACT to provide for the transfer and convey-
ance of the property of the Elysville Manufac-
turing Company, a corporation created by the
act of eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,
chapter thirty-two.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall be lawful for the
stockholders of the Elysville Manufacturing Com-
pany, and the legal representatives of any corpo-
rators or deceased stockholders to unite in a deed
to convey any real estate or other property owned
or held by said corporation, and a deed executed
in accordance with the laws of Maryland by such
corporators and stockholders, or their legal repre-
sentatives, shall be good and effective to convey
such real estate or other property, and to give a
valid and legal title thereto as a deed duly execu-
ted by the officers of said corporation and attested
by their corporate seal, would at any time have
been.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be com-
petent for any court of equity to receive and enter-
tain any bill, and to pass any order or decree
which may be just and right in the premises and
which may be found necessary or desirable to give
effect to the foregoing provision and to confer a
good and valid title upon any purchaser of any of
the real estate or other property heretofore at any
time owned or held by the said Elysville Manu-
facturing Company, and which has been or at any
time hereafter shall be conveyed by said corpora-
tion or by the stockholders or legal representatives
of stockholders in said corporation.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
