AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for ser-
vices rendered the State by Daniel M. Moore
and Job Haines, in the adjustment and payment
of Claims for Bounty to Volunteers, under the
acts for eighteen hundred and sixty-four, provid-
ing for the payment of Bounty to Volunteers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby
directed to pay on the warrant of the Cpmptroller,
to Daniel M. Moore and Job Haines, the sum of
three hundred, .dollars each, for services rendered
the State dp the examination and adjustment of
claims for bounty to volunteer, this sum to be
paid out of the unexpended portion of the appro-
priation made under chapter fifteen of eighteen
hundred and sixty-four for the payment of bounty
to volunteers enlisted from this State.

effect from the date of its passage.
