A, W. BRADFORD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR,

or participated in by the said company, by which
through means of through tickets or otherwise, any
one passenger traveling on the said road shall be
charged a less sum than any other passenger travel-
ing thereon the same same distance in cars of the
same class, shall be a forfeiture of this act of in-
corporation, and the same may be enforced by scire
facias in the usual way.

Sec. 18. And be it enacted, That said company
shall start and run their cars for the transporta-
tion of passengers and property at regular times,
to be fixed by public notice, and shall furnish suf-
ficient accommodations for transportation of all
such passengers and property as shall within a
reasonable time previous thereto, be offered for
transportation at the place of starting, and at the
usual stopping places established for receiving and
discharging way passengers and freight for that
train, and shall take, transport and discharge
such passengers and property at, from and to such
places, on the due payment of their freight or fare
legally authorized therefor, and shall be liable to
the party aggrieved in an action for damages for
any neglect or. refusal in the premises.

Sec. 19. And be it enacted, That the said Metro-
politan Railroad Company may form or establish
working connections with the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad Company at any point not exceeding the
distance of one mile from the place or places where
it is authorized to cross the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad.

Sec. 20. And be it enacted, That all money ob-
tained upon subscriptions to the stock of the said
Metropolitan Railroad Company, paid by the citi-
zens or residents of the respective counties or cities
in the State of Maryland, within which its rail-
road may be located, shall be exclusively expend-
ed in locating, constructing and completing the
parts of its said railroad lying within the counties
or cities to which the subscribers respectively be-
long, unless they shall file their written consent
with the President and Directors of the company,
leaving it to their discretion to expend the money
where and how they please for the interest of the
company.
