AN ACT to amend and re-enact section ten of
Article forty-four of the Code of Public General
Laws relating to the amount of compensation to
be paid by the several counties and the city of
Baltimore to the President and Visitors of the
Maryland Hospital, for the support of pauper
lunatics.

Amended and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section ten of Article forty-
four of the Code of Public General Laws relating
to the amount of compensation to be paid by the
several counties and the city of Baltimore, to the
President and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital,
for the support of pauper lunatics, be and the same
is hereby amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

10. The President and Visitors of the Maryland
Hospital, shall receive from each county and the
city of Baltimore, two hundred dollars per annum,
for the support of each pauper lunatic sent from
said county or city to said Hospital.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
