wagons, carts, horses, mules, oxen, cattle, sheep,
hogs and all other property free from all toll or
exaction of any kind.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Caroline county, be and they are
hereby required to levy and pay annually the sum
of two hundred and fifty dollars, to whatever per-
son or persons that may have charge of said bridge
for the purpose of keeping said bridge and cause-
way leading to said bridge in repair, and to com-
pensate the person who may attend the draw of
said bridge.

Annual levy
to be made.

Sec. 3. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 129.

 

AN ACT Supplementary to an act entitled, "An
Act to incorporate the Superannuated Fund
Society of the Maryland Annual Confrence,"
passed at December session eighteen hundred
and thirty-nine, chapter two hundred and
eighty-five.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Superannuated Fund So-
ciety of the Maryland Annual Conference, be and
the same is hereby authorized and empowered to
receive and take, by gift, grant, devise or bequest,
any real or personal property and estate, for the
use and benefit of any person or persons, or for
any objects and purposes of a religious, charitable,
philanthropic or other laudable character, and to
execute the special trusts upon which such pro-
perty may be or may have been confided to said
society, and to make investment of trust money,
and changes in the investment of trust property,
by sale or otherwise, whenever in their discretion,
it shall appear desirable, so however that the net
income of such trust estate and property, held
