of Public Schools; and the sum of one hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary
is hereby appropriated to be paid, on the warrant
of the Comptroller, to said Librarian to defray
the expenses incurred in executing the provisions
of this section.

Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That these Maps shall
be carefully kept and preserved by the officers in
whose charge they may be placed, and shall be
subject at all times to be referred to and examined
by the citizens of the counties and the city of Bal-
timore, for whose use and instruction they are
especially intended.

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That the remaining
forty copies of each, the Map on rollers, and the
Map in Atlas form shall be kept and held by said
Librarian, subject to the order of the State Super-
intendent of Public Instruction, who is requested
to make of them such disposition as in his judg-
ment and discretion shall best promote the cause
of education and the enlightenment of the people
of the State.

AN ACT to change the name of Rev. John Schil-
ling, formerly of Allegany county, to John
Griffith Schilling.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the name of Rev. John
Schilling of Allegany county, be and the same is
hereby changed to John Griffith Schilling.
