CHAPTER 73.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay
the claims of Thomas S. Alexander and James
Revell, for professional services rendered the
State.
|

21, 1865.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay Thomas S. Alexander and James
Revell, each, the sum of seventy-five dollars for pro-
fessional services rendered the State by arguing
before the Court of Appeals the case of the Trus-
tees of Allegany county School vs. the Comptroller
of the Treasury.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
CHAPTER 74.

AN ACT to repeal section three hundred and ten
of Article eleven of the Code of Public Local
Laws entitled, Frederick County," and re-enact
the same with an amendment.

SECTION 1. B e it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section three hundred and
ten of Article eleven of the Code of Public Local
Laws entitled, "Frederick County," be and the
same is hereby repealed, and that the following
be enacted as a substitute for and in lieu thereof.

Section three hundred and ten, the Sheriff of
Frederick county shall be entitled to fifty cents
per day for boarding each prisoner committed to
the county jail.
